Yesterday, 7th and 8th grade students went to BridgeValley Community College and got to explore the various fields of study that are offered there. They even got to visit the state-of-the-art nursing school that it set up as an ER simulation that just opened this year. Students got a chance to intubate and put a breathing tube in a patient, assess a patient in an ambulance simulation, practice their CPR skills while listening to "Stayin' Alive", and even weld down at the Toyota Hall building. It was a great day with a lot of hands-on engagement that all the students enjoyed!
